Very soon we will have the technology to manufacture complete proteins with precision fermentation instead of using animals for meat we can brew our proteins like beer. We should have an international Manhattan project to make this happen at scale around the globe as even a plant based diet for 8-10 billion people will destroy the planet.

Wondering after your film: If we are runing of time; Why don't we stop "producing meat" ? Why still, in school do we eat meat,still? And why in restaurants, still they keep on, serving meats and other animal proteiens?

The problem is that plant based food production is now horrendous. Herbicides, pesticides, artificial fertilisers, land grabs, water grabs, water pollution from erosion and chemical runoff, air pollution from burning stubble, transport of plant based foods around the globe... mass veganism is a disaster! It was better when it was a neich diet.

Propaganda at its finest by those very greedy corporations that destroy our world for power, money and put the blame on us!

The planet left to its own devices is extremely likely to develop through dynamic expansion meaning the most efficient and effective use of space is also the most likely scenario to naturally develop making a globally self escalating system yet this expansion is not without essential episodes of dynamic contraction of which causes a redistribution of species through migration for resources that ensures DNA and biodiversity health of all biomes globally...! meaning for our species to be a sustainable element of this planets biodiversity we would need to respond to natural episodes of dynamic expansion and contraction better than we have rather than allowing ourselves to be a calculatable factor making matters worse.......! Unconscious population expansion leading to unconscious exploitation escalation or we redesign our food production system and our reproduction habits to take into account the current evolutionary position of our planet......! if we keep responding to a dynamic system in a linear way what we are not looking at or taking into account to achieve what we are looking at and making a priority will ensure we overlook the information that's required for the long term sustainability of a population this size...... !

What happens when you raise the population of humans directly into the path of a reduction in biodiversity and availability? Desperation creates unusual practices that later are taught and innovated upon until the reason for the transition becomes lost in time, then new methods that form new foundations are built upon causing further population expansion escalating the need to become increasingly more and more exploitative making it impossible to regain the original lost level of abundance and convenience that once was.......! It might become apparent at some stage of history that we simply scaled up the worlds population during the wrong period of this planets evolutionary history making matters worse for the planet short term of which in turn becoming worse for us long term of which we are now beginning to see the first global effects of......! Agricultures long term sustainability and viability as a method might be directly linked to maintaining a stable population equilibrium with the natural world as every form of dominance also stimulates a reduction in complexity thus stability.....! Коли в тебе є мотивація і розуміння для чого ти це робиш - перехід є відносно легким і "ломки" за продуктами тваринного погодження немає(лише мій досвід).

This video makes a hue deal about pesticides and chemicals, then suggest we simply swap to a vegan diet... are they under the impression that pesticides and chemicals aren't used on plants as well? Because news flash, they are. 38:06 This is controversial. Short chain omega fatty acids are not always converted to long chain omega fatty acids. Conversion rates vary genetically. Many take algae derived long chain omega three fatty acids which are very expensive. Some studies have indicated they these fatty acids may support brain health or protect against heart disease. Many experts disagree.

This film is heavily biasd and fails to tell the truth. They never mention how much land will be needed for 100 % vegan world. They also fail to mention how much land is used for fuel use. They don't mention that 14 percent of brazils agriculture land is to grow biofuel for our automobiles. While globally it is estimated that 6 to 8 percent of agricultural land is for biofuel. The also do not go into beer and alcohol drinking and the acerage used because they are in fact very poplular around the world. This whole film is based in falsehoods and half truths to push the un agenda. This is heavily biased with much psychology used to infulence thinking. The background music is meant to work to create sadness. They are attempting to manipulate the public with threats. This is a vegan film with vegan prejudice and vegan hate of meat eaters.

The problem is not anthropogenic, the climate change is real but have nothing to do with humans. They forcing ppl and looking to feed you with climate change , but the real problem is pollution of air, land, water ... we must stop the pollution not the natural climate change . Unfortunately while I agree with the general sentiment of this video, it is scientifically and factually poor. There are not for example 5 trillion tonnes of plastic in the ocean. 100 billion tonnes of crude oil is the total approximate amount extracted by mankind to date (much less will have become plastic, much less will have ended up in the ocean). That is not to say that oceanic plastic is not a serious issue (it really is). Also the stuff about hydrogen peroxide and formaldehyde use in fish farming. Biophysiologically at the concentrations that would end up in the fish, I doubt this is a problem. Both chemicals the body is quite used to dealing with. If your worried about formaldehyde the best thing to do is to stop drinking alcohol. That is not to say that the farmed fish industry is innocent or that farmed fish is any good for you. The poor science unfortunately undermines the whole message - which is a shame. We are heading towards climate catastrophe probably within the next half century.

If 5 of the biggest animal farming brands only make a bit more green house gases than one of the fossil fuel giants, maybe it is safe to say most of the pollution is due to fossil fuel companies.

Oui mais ce que je comprends le problème c'est l'être humain, quand le veganisme a explosé sur les réseaux les gens ont fait une fixette sur les produits exotiques, les lobby on toute suite senti le business et maintenant il y a des avocats partout en France alors que l'avocat le vrai et 100fois plus meilleur en goût et en nutriments que celui vendu au supermarché, je voudrais un documentaire qui parle de l'impact de tout ces territoires exploiter pour leurs produits locaux, des sols qui on été brisé pour produire comme des bananes aux Antilles, des petits en Afrique qui récolte du cacao sans n'avoir jamais goûté au chocolat de sa vie. la bouffe aujourd'hui c'est comme la politique faut choisir entre la peste et le colléra et manger des noix du Brésil ne changera pas le problème. L'un des problème majeur c'est la fascination que l'être humain a pour ce qui ne pousse pas chez lui et de tout transformer en mode sur les assiettes insta, parce que la ou une tendance se crée un lobby viens avec un plan marketing de masse. Et je souhaiterais des documentaires aussi sur la pollution de la technologie les ordis, les portables, les micros ondes machine à laver et j'en passe, les dégâts écologique et guerre économique pour continuer c'est production extravagante, c'est affreux de savoir que même les produits hygiéniques ou les produits de ménages tout ce qui viens de ses boîtes est toxique et ses dépriment, même nos meubles sont toxique, chaque documentaire met la faute sur l'un ou sur l'autre, et on nous fait croire que manger de la viande va arrêter le problème c'est faux ils couperont juste d'autres forêts pour faire pousser des patates plein de pesticides qui nous tueront aussi

I think I once said "EndGame 2050" had more scientific prowess than this film which I now totally retract. I think they are pretty equal in scientific prowess after watching them both numerous times. I also said that Sofia Pinda Ochoa had more emotional content from the White Cow scene that I stick by as this was what made my fifth attempt at becoming Vegan a lifetime game changer, I will always be Vegan now. Having said that the sickening scenes of animal conditions in this film are probably as useful to convert Vegans as Sofia's emotions in some respect. Thankyou to Kate, Otto and the whole "Eating our way to Extinction" team for this so important work of global vital education.

The numbers are so overwhelming that the sad music becomes just hilarious

Meat doesn't even taste if it weren't for salt and spices, not even nutritious nor good for health. Yet, we are sacrificing our planet for it? This is the most dumbest thing human had done. Mining industry are forgivable since there are not much substitutes for some metals and minerals. But for meat?? Legumes are here, lab grown meat are growing, and insects can also be a good substitutes, also we don't even need any animal flesh to survive.

The ways most plants for human consumption (including those for producing alternatives to fossil fuels like ethanol) are extremely environmentally problematic. Forests have been clear-cut to make way for crops that strip the soil of nutrients, require massive amounts of water, and don't sequester carbon the way trees do. This is also the problem with commercial livestock operations that feed animals grains, corn, and soy instead of their natural diets. Cows are intended to eat grass, chickens are intended to forage, etc. When left to their natural ways of life, livestock is substantially better for the environment overall than today's industrialized monocrop agriculture.

Being vegan is really the only way to help this planet
